The Arsenal youngster appeared to approach the Barcelona new-boy and ask for his shirt before the match was finished - actions which infuriated Roy Keane and many others
As the dust settles on his stunning cameo performance and goal against Brazil at the Maracana Stadium, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has unexpectedly found himself the subject of controversy.
In the closing moments of the game, which ended in a 2-2 draw, the 19-year-old appeared to ask Barcelona's latest marquee signing Neymar if he could have his shirt at the final whistle.
Oxlade-Chamberlain's desire to obtain a valuable souvenir from the Brazil star is understandable, but the timing of his request, which was caught on TV cameras, has infuriated some - most notably former Manchester United captain Roy Keane, who blasted the Arsenal youngster on ITV after the match.
Should Oxlade-Chamberlain have asked for Neymar's shirt before the match was finished? Or were his actions perfectly forgivable in what was essentially a meaningless friendly?
