Poll of the Day: Who needs to win the Europa League most?

As we enter the second leg of the quarter-final stage, there are three teams from the top flight still in with a chance of winning the competition but which stands the best chance?

The Premier League triumvirate of Chelsea, Tottenham and Newcastle all look set to find out their Europa League fate on Thursday night, but which of the three needs to win the trophy the most this season?

Rafa Benitez's side travel to the Luzhniki Stadium in Russia to face Rubin Kazan, the scene of their 2008 Champions League final penalty shoot-out defeat to Manchester United, but this time they carry a healthy 3-1 advantage from the first leg at Stamford Bridge.

7/4 Chelsea are 7/4 to win the Europa League with William Hill
9/2 Tottenham are 9/2 to win the Europa League with William Hill
40/1 Newcastle are 40/1 to win the Europa League with William Hill
However, given that the club currently sit in third place in the league, seven points adrift of second-placed Manchester City, they will now turn their attentions to trying to add some silverware to their trophy cabinet, and also have an FA Cup semi-final against Roberto Mancini's side on Sunday.

Tottenham travel away to Swiss outfit FC Basel for their second leg clash, looking to secure a vital away goal that could take them through to the final four after drawing 2-2 at White Hart Lane last week.

Andre Villas-Boas has struggled to balance the club's league and European commitments in recent weeks, with his squad stretched to breaking point, but he will be desperate to prove his doubters in England wrong and again lift the trophy he won with Porto in 2011.

Newcastle have endured a difficult campaign after last year's superb fifth-placed finish in the league, hampered by a subsequent lack of investment in the summer and a series of injuries to key players.

Nevertheless, Alan Pardew will want to go as far in the tournament as he can, with the club hovering just five points above the relegation zone at present.

The Magpies will seek to overturn a two-goal deficit picked up away in Portugal against Benfica - though they do have an away goal to their name.

With that in mind, which of the three sides listed above from the Premier League needs to win the Europa League the most this season to validate their progress?
