A number of players who have recently moved to new Premier League clubs found themselves on the scoresheet this weekend.
Dimitar Berbatov marked his first start in a Fulham shirt by netting twice as the Cottagers comfortably edged out a previously unbeaten West Brom 3-0.
Meanwhile, defender Matt Lowton celebrated his move to Aston Villa from Sheffield United by scoring a spectacular volley against Swansea.
Champions Manchester City had Javi Garcia to thank for rescuing a point against Stoke City after the Spaniard nodded home on his full debut.

And, never ones to be edged out by their rivals, Manchester United had two players scoring their first Red Devils goals as Alexander Buttner and Nick Powell contributed to a 4-0 rout of Wigan.
But, after what appears to be a perfect start, which player can capitalise and continue their fine form at their new clubs?
So, will Berbatov show his class when given a regular starting berth? Or is Matt Lowton set to be another steal from the lower leagues? Will Javi Garcia help City retain the title? Or can young guns Buttner and Powell help their side regain the crown? Let us know your thoughts by voting in the poll, leaving a comment below or getting in touch through Facebook or Twitter.
