PORTO

Helton - 7- Performed heroics by denying a first-half Bendtner header and a Rosicky pile driver.

Pereira - 6 - Tricked by Rosicky in the first half but largely comfortable up and down the right side.

Rolando - 8 - Kept Bendtner quiet for most of the night.

Bruno Alves - 8 - Made a well-timed challenge on Fabregas in the box in first half. Yellow card for kicking the ball away.

Fucile - 6 -  Picked up yellow card for persistent fouling - mainly of Fabregas.

Raul Meireles - 7 - Laid off the free-kick for Falcao to slide the second goal past the dizzy Fabianski.

Fernando - 7 - Deep lying midfielder kept Fabregas at bay for most of the game.

Ruben - 8 - Along with Meireles, he dictated the game for Porto.

Varela - 9 - Skipped past Gael Clichy on the right and drove the ball across goal, but Fabianski should still have dealt with it rather than palm it into his own net. The Porto man was a standout all the same.

Falcao - 8 - Scored simple goal after short indirect free-kick from Ruben inside the penalty area. Just reward for being switched on.

Hulk - 7 - Dragged one shot wide of Fabianski's right-hand post.

Substitutes

Fernando Belluschi - N/A - On for Ruben with just 5 mins to go.

Nicolas Gonzalez - N/A - On for Hulk in the 81st minute.

ARSENAL

Lukasz Fabianski - 1 - Terrible errors for both goals. Under no pressure when he palmed Varela's cross into his own goal, then needlessly picked up the ball from a Campbell back-pass before turning his back on play and conceding a tap-in to Falcao. Vulnerable throughout.

Bacary Sagna- 4 - Despite all the talk of Hulk's devastating play, the Frenchman did fairly well to keep him quiet.

Sol Campbell - 7 - From Samir Nasri's corner, Tomas Rosicky headed it back across goal for that man Sol Campbell to score the equaliser - his first since the Champions League in 2006.

Thomas Vermaelen - 6 - Coped well with attacks down the middle but frequently exposed by his full-backs.

Gael Clichy - 4 - Guilty of letting Varela get the cross in for Porto's first goal.

Cesc Fabregas - 7 - Allowed to get forward by Diaby's defensive work. Angered the Porto crowd into vociferous whistling as players walked off for half-time.

Denilson - 5 - Plenty of effort but failed to dominate the midfield.

Abou Diaby - 6 - Another mature performance but cumbersome tackle on left wing earned a yellow card.

Tomas Rosicky - 7 - Great strike saved by fingertips of Helton. Provided the headed assist for Campbell goal.

Nicklas Bendtner - 5 - Deflected shot led to the corner that produced Campbell's goal. Glancing header almost crept under the bar but was well kept out by Helton.

Samir Nasri - 7 - Provided corner that led to the Campbell equaliser.

Substitutes

Theo Walcott - 6 - On for Rosicky after 68 minutes.
