Poll: Was the Olympiakos win Moyes' turning point at Manchester United?

A committed performance from the squad saw them overturn a two-goal deficit and reach the Champions League quarter-finals - but was it a one-off or the start of a change in tide?

With the speculation over his job mounting to a season-high crescendo following Manchester United's 3-0 home loss to Liverpool, David Moyes steered his side to an unlikely Champions League progression on Wednesday night.

Ryan Giggs returned to the first-team fold to produce another evergreen performance while Robin van Persie, who has been rumoured to have fallen out with Moyes, scored a hat-trick to down Olympiakos and hand the manager a win when he needed it most.

United were knocked out of both domestic cups before they could make a mark while their title defence never seemed to materalise.

Europe is all United have left, and they are running the risk of failing to qualify for next season.

So was last night exactly what Moyes needed? Can he now kick on and restore some faith in those who have criticised him recently or was this just a one-off display?
