The Spain international is a £35 million target for les Parisiens, but should he stay and fight for his place at Chelsea, and would he even get in the French champions' team?POLL
Pushed down the Chelsea pecking order following Jose Mourinho's return to Stamford Bridge, Juan Mata is ready to leave the west London club with French giants Paris Saint-Germain preparing a bid.
As revealed by Goal, the big-spending Ligue 1 champions are ready to offer £35 million for the out-of-favour Spanish playmaker, who fears for his place in the Roja squad for the World Cup in Brazil next summer.

But, already well stocked in attacking talent, do Laurent Blanc's side, currently topping the Ligue 1 table on goal difference, really need the 25-year-old?
£34m Argentine attacker Javier Pastore, a cautionary tale for Mata, has struggled to hold down a first-team place this season. The one-time Palermo man has completed 90 minutes just twice, and has not featured in the club's last six games.
Blanc has favoured a three-man midfield sitting deep to allow greater freedom to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi, and Mata could find his opportunities just as limited in Paris as they are in the English capital.
Mata's bid for a World Cup berth may even be boosted from staying to fight for his place at Stamford Bridge, with Mourinho keen for the the diminutive creator to add further strings to his bow - namely increased defensive effort.
Would Mata be wise to turn down a move to PSG and stay at Chelsea? Would the Spaniard be able to force his way into a Parisiens side already stocked with attacking talent? Or should he stay with the Blues and prove Mourinho wrong?
In short, would it be a mistake to join PSG?
