No Manchester City offer for VfL Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko as £34m deadline passes - report
VfL Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko has not been the subject of a bid from Manchester City or anyone else as, according to a report from Sky Sports News.
A clutch of Europe's top clubs have been reportedly interested in the Bosnian, who is valued in the region of £30 million.
However, a clause in his contract which would have allowed Dzeko to leave the Wolves for €40m (approximately £33.6m) expired on Monday night with no deals having been concluded.
Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur, as well as City, were also reported as being interested in the player, but it appears now that any possible move must wait a little longer to be completed.
