Avram Grant agrees deal in principle to become manager of West Ham - report

West Ham United have agreed a deal to take Avram Grant from Portsmouth and make him manager at Upton Park, according to a report from Sky Sports News.
Negotiations are understood to be ongoing, but agreement has been reached 'in principle', the report claims.
The deal looks likely to be completed very soon though, and could apparently be concluded as soon as today (Friday).
Grant, who set an inspiring example as Pompey battled a whole host of off-field problems as they fought valiantly to stave off their inevitable relegation, is understood to be currently at home in Israel.
