Arsenal are interested in signing Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Paul Robinson, according to a report in the People.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has seen both his senior 'keepers - Manuel Almunia and Lukasz Fabianski - struggle for form this season, and is reported to have identified former Tottenham man Robinson as the solution.
Robinson has enjoyed an upsurge in his own form since joining Blackburn in 2008, though was today omitted from Fabio Capello's provisional England World Cup squad of 30.
Wenger is believed to have had the 30-year-old watched earlier this year, but has also been linked with moves for Lyon's Hugo Lloris, Fiorentina's Sebastian Frey, and Manchester City's Joe Hart.
