thumbnail Hello,

Bolton Wanderers are preparing to bolster their offensive options during the summer and are believed to be making eyes at Stuttgart striker Cacau.

According to the Mirror, Cacau has turned down a three-year contract extension with the German outfit as he seeks a new challenge, something that has alerted Bolton manager Owen Coyle.

With transfer funds not readily available at the Reebok Stadium, Coyle will hope to take advantage of Cacau’s contract expiring and lure him to the Premier League.

Bolton have struggled to find the target all season, scoring just 36 times, and Coyle sees the promising frontman as part of his summer re-building process as he attempts to shape the Trotters into a top half Premier League club.

However, it is expected that Bolton will face stern competition from Wolfsburg and Sevilla for Cacau’s signature.
