Turkey heavyweight side Galatasaray have rejected the advances of two Premier League sides, Manchester City and Arsenal, who reportedly placed £12 million bids for Kader Keita and Arda Turan, respectively.

A long-term target for the Gunners, the 23-year-old Turan is expected to leave Istanbul in the summer.

The Citizens, meanwhile, are again looking to bolster their midfield.

Galatasaray president Adnan Polat is reported by Sky Sports to have said: "We have been offered €14million [£12million] for both players, but we do not intend to sell them."

While Polat did not explicitly mention City and Arsenal as the bidders, Sky have associated the English pair with the two players.

Both Turan and Keita have excelled in the Turkish Super Lig this season. The latter has also garnered interest from Everton and Aston Villa.
