Hull City interested in Portsmouth boss Avram Grant to replace Phil Brown - report

According to Sky Sports News, Hull City are believed to be interested in securing the managerial services of current Portsmouth boss Avram Grant to replace Phil Brown, who departed on Monday.
The Tigers have been heavily linked with Iain Dowie, but as they are yet to make any official approach for the ex-Crystal Palace boss, it is thought that current Pompey incumbent Grant is now their first choice.
The Israeli is still contracted to Portsmouth but amidst their current financial crisis, is thought to be disillusioned with life on the south coast.
The Premier League’s basement clubs are set to meet at Fratton Park on Saturday with the latest developments with regards to Grant sure to add further spice to the encounter.
