Portsmouth have not paid their players on time for the fourth time this season, according to a report from Sky Sports News.
The Portsmouth News revealed earlier that several Pompey employees had contacted them in anger after receiving emails that there was possiblilty that their wages would be paid late.
Defender Hermann Hreidarsson, the club's PFA representative, had been optimisitic that he and his colleagues would receieve their wages on time.
"Nothing has been said about it whatsoever," he told The News.
"We will have to wait and see, but we are remaining optimistic."
However, it looks as if the woe at Fratton Park has continued, as the club staggers from one crisis to another with seemingly no hope of relief on the horizon.
