West Ham United end interest in Manchester City striker Benjani, Sunderland to swoop - reports

West Ham United have ended their interest in signing Manchester City striker Benjani, according to reports from Sky Sports News and The Daily Mail.
That means that Steve Bruce's Sunderland could step in with a £1.5 million offer for the Zimbabwe international.
The 31-year-old has also reportedly piqued the interest of Turkish giants Galatasaray, as well as Blackburn Rovers and Birmingham City.
However, The Mail claims that the striker is now discussing terms about a possible move to the Stadium of Light from Eastlands.
