Reports in the British press indicate that Fulham are close to sealing deals for Egypt playmaker Gedo and Roma forward Stefano Okaka.
The Daily Mail claims that Roy Hodgson's scouting staff have been hugely impressed with Gedo's performances at the African Cup of Nations, where he has netted three times to help steer his nation to the final four.
But the Cottagers aren't the only ones with designs on the Al-Ittihad star, as Sunderland, Celtic, Real Sociedad and Osasuna are all said to be thinking about making an offer.
However, Fulham are favourites to sign up the 25-year-old, who could be joined in west London by Okaka.
The young striker was close to leaving the Italian capital for its English equivalent earlier this month, but talks broke down at the final stage due to a disagreement over a loan fee.
But according to The Mirror, Hodgson - who now faces competition from Stoke City boss Tony Pulis - has moved to rekindle negotiations for the 20-year-old talent.
