Manchester City striker Robinho is nearing a loan switch to Barcelona, as the chiefs of the two clubs are reportedly scheduled to meet and discuss the matter.
According to The Sun, the Citizens' executive chairman Garry Cook, the 25-year-old's father and the player's commercial manager are set to meet with Barca representatives in Abu Dhabi, where players from the club who are not on international duty are training.
The report claims that the Eastlands outfit will be given a £6 million "arrangement fee", and the Brazilian will make a move to the Catalan giants in January with a view to a permanent transfer during the summer.
A source close to the player allegedly said: "It is looking highly likely Robinho will get his move. Barcelona are very keen."
The former Real Madrid star has had to deal with an ankle injury, and has thus made only three appearances for the Sky Blues this season.
