Atletico Madrid's Joel Robles coveted by Tottenham Hotspur - report

Joel Robles, Atletico de Madrid (MARCA)
Atletico Madrid 'keeper Joel Robles is considering his future with the club and could leave for nothing next summer, when his contract with the Spanish capital side expires.

According to Goal.com Spain, various clubs from across Europe are looking to sign him for next season, with Fiorentina and Tottenham Hotspur at the head of the queue.

Sevilla are also believed to be interested in the 19-year-old, who has fallen down the pecking order at the Vicente Calderon due to the emergence of David de Gea this season.

Sergio Asenjo was purchased from Real Valladolid this summer, while Roberto Jimenez provides a more experienced alternative for coach Quique Sanchez Flores.

As a result, Joel is able to speak to other clubs from next January over a summer move. However, it is believed that he will wait until the end of the season before making a decision.

Gines Carvajal, the player's agent, believes that "it's too early to see what will happen at the end of the season", but added that Joel has "a bright future" in the game.
