The on-loan Southampton striker has set his sights on a World Cup spot after opening his Bianconeri account against Trabzonspor, and says the Argentine is a joy to play alongside
The Southampton loanee scored the opener in his first start for Antonio Conte's side after 16 minutes, with Paul Pogba adding another in stoppage time to ensure the Italians go to Turkey confident in the second leg of their last-32 tie.
Osvaldo lauded his Argentine strike-partner following the Bianconeri's win, and says he hopes that he can continue to impress in Turin in order to secure a place in Italy's World Cup squad.
"Tevez makes it so easy to play alongside him," the 28-year-old told Sky Sport Italia. "He's a phenomenon and any player would find it simpler playing with him.
"I do not like to sit still and wait for the ball and, conveniently, the coach has asked me to move about continuously.
"Honestly, I feel very comfortable with both Tevez and the rest of the team. I'm happy, right away I adapted pretty well here.
"I plan to work hard to go to the World Cup, I will give my all. It doesn't just depend on me, but I hope I can do it."
Thursday's strike was Osvaldo's fourth of the season, having scored only three times in his five months in the Premier League with the Saints.
