“Jack has an inflamed ankle,” Wenger told reporters. “Will he be available for Wednesday? I do not know. We will have to wait until Monday to see.
“Gibbs has a calf problem. I don't know exactly how bad it is.”
Arsenal moved five points clear at the top of the Premier League table with the victory over Liverpool, and Wenger was delighted with the manner of the performance following defeats to Dortmund and Chelsea.
“We needed to respond [against Liverpool],” Wenger added.
“After the Chelsea game, it was a disappointment and we had to convince people that we could we win these big games and to win it in a convincing way is even more important.
“It was an important win for the team, for the club, and I believe that nobody could dispute that we deserved to win.”
