Celta Vigo - Barcelona Betting Preview: Why we should see goals at both ends

Our Spanish expert Phil Kitromilides thinks the hosts have enough about them to score against the Primerga Liga champions on Tuesday evening
A potentially intriguing tie tonight at the Estadio Balaidos sees two sides who enjoyed big wins at the weekend meet.

Without doubt Barcelona's 2-1 victory over Real Madrid inspired more headlines than Celta's 5-0 thrashing of Malaga, but both results were equally important to the respective sides.

Six points clear of Real Madrid yet with Atletico for company, Barcelona need another win tonight and William Hill price them at 1/4 (1.25) to record a further success.

Celta meanwhile have been playing well recently without getting the results their performances have deserved, and can be backed at 11/1 (12.00) to claim what would be a major scalp.

Naturally this is a game that Barcelona should win, yet their overall showing in Saturday's Clasico was not overly convincing, and with Celta finding their scoring touch, the hosts will fancy their chances of finding the back of the net.

Both teams to score is offered at 7/10 (1.70) and that is a little bigger than what might have been expected.

Last season Celta only failed to score at home on four occasions in the 19 league matches they played at Balaidos, and netted twice against Barca in a 2-2 draw in March.

Celta are arguably a more expansive side than they were last season, with a more potent attacking trident and a manager who wants them to play attacking football.

If we take it as a given that Barca will score (which they have done in 64 of their last 65 league games), the price of 7/10 (1.70) for Celta to find the back of the net looks tempting and can be taken as a stand alone bet or as part of a multiple.
