Darren Bent has revealed he expects to leave Aston Villa this summer.
Bent has been repeatedly linked with a move for the past 12 months, having fallen out of favour under Paul Lambert and found himself behind Christian Benteke in the pecking order.
And in a video recorded by a resourceful Villa fan on his mobile phone and uploaded to Youtube, the 29-year-old admitted he hopes to be plying his trade elsewhere in the Premier League next term.
When asked whether he would be staying, Bent replied: "Yeh, I'll be out of here pretty soon, I'm sure."
Newcastle boss Alan Pardew is an avowed admirer of Bent, having worked with him previously at Charlton, while Fulham are also believed to be monitoring the striker's situation closely.
But when pushed on which club he would prefer, Bent responded: "We'll have to see."
