The legendary striker has sent a congratulatory message to the pair as they look set to become part of a new set up at the CBF following Mano Menezes' dismissal
Former coach Mano Menezes was sacked last week which led to the resignation of director Andres Sanchez and Romario, who won the World Cup with the Selecao in 1994, tweeted the message to the duo.
"I wish luck to my friends Parreira and Scolari," he said.
"Thank God these incompetents at CBF hit at least once. I'm sure now that the wrongs things that happened [under Menezes] will cease to happen. They will summon the best players at the moment [to play for Brazil].
Romaro enjoyed an 18-year career representing his country, scoring 71 times in 85 appearances.
