Galatasaray confirmed that they have signed striker Burak Yilmaz for a reported fee of €5 million (£3.9m).
An official statement released by the club reveals that the 27-year-old has put pen to paper on a four-year deal, with the option for an extra season.
The forward has been in rampant form for Trabzonspor since joining them in 2010 - scoring 55 goals in just 74 league appearances.
He has also started to make an impact at international level: hitting the target six times in 18 starts since making his debut for Turkey in 2006.
The tall, powerful striker will pick up €20,000 (£15,000) a week from the Turkish champions.
