Guillermo Franco to part ways with West Ham United
Striker unsure of the path that lies ahead...
By Adithya Ananth
West Ham United forward Guillermo Franco has confirmed that he will be leaving the club during the summer.
The Mexico international - who recently scored at Wembley during the international friendly against England - joined the Hammers last summer on a one-year contract. He will leave the east London club when the deal expires at the end of next month.
"I don't know where I'll be next season," Franco told the club's official website.
"West Ham told me 'bye bye' so I won't be with West Ham next season.
"Now my focus is on the international team and the World Cup and then I'll think about next season.
"Of course I enjoyed my time at West Ham. The supporters and the people were fantastic. I very much enjoyed my year in West Ham, but now it's finished and this is football."
