Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger: Inter & Bayern Munich Champions League final will be 'locked'
One goal might claim continental crown...
By Zack Wilson
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is anticipating a very tight encounter when Inter meet Bayern Munich in Saturday evening's Champions League final in Madrid.
Wenger feels that Bayern possess a slight edge in terms of the attacking flair at their disposal. They are also in excellent form.
However, the Frenchman believes that Jose Mourinho will have his Inter team as brilliantly organised as usual and feels that the Italian side have an advantage defensively.
That means that the game will be close, with the Gunners chief foreseeing a narrow victory margin of one goal for either team.
"It is a very difficult prediction," Wenger told his club's official website.
"You would say the maturity and the experience goes for Inter. And that could be very, very important in a final.
"But the form of the moment goes for Bayern because they look like they are scoring goals for fun. They look on a different planet at the moment, so it will be very interesting.
"Inter has a defensive advantage and that could make a difference. It will be a ‘locked' Final that is for sure. So one goal will make the difference I believe."
