Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp praises the professionalism of goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini
Spurs gaffer delighted with return of stopper after horrific injury...

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has praised the professionalism of goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini, after the Italian stopper successfully recovered from a motorcycle accident.
The veteran ‘keeper, who signed from Chelsea during the 2009 January window, made seven appearances for the White Hart Lane outfit before being sidelined after breaking both wrists, and injuring his pelvis, in a motorcycle accident in Novemeber.
But the 36-year-old Italian, whose career hung in the balance, has returned to training, and subsequently been offered a new one-year contract extension by the club, and Redknapp is delighted for his prized number two.
"It is great to see Carlo out on the training pitch again after everything he has been through. He is coming on fantastic and training well,” Redknapp told the club’s official website.
"If anyone was going to come back from something like this it would be him.
Redknapp added: "He is dedicated, a top professional through and through, and has been there every Saturday to support the side.
"He has been brought up in the game - his father was a great goalkeeper at AC Milan and Carlo is exactly the same, a top-class person and professional."
