thumbnail Hello,

Terry Butcher’s men wrap up title…

Inverness Caledonian Thistle have won promotion back to the Scottish Premier League at the first attempt.

Second-placed Dundee needed to win against Raith Rovers on Wednesday night to stand a chance of keeping their hopes of winning Division One alive but a 1-0 loss handed the title to Terry Butcher’s side.

Inverness were favourites to bounce back to the top-flight following their relegation last season but the title looked to be going Dundee’s way at the turn of the year.

Gordon Chisholm’s side led the league coming into the new year but a recent 19-match unbeaten run from Inverness means Butcher has guided his side to the title with two games to spare.
