English youngster dreams of stepping onto Wembley pitch...

Nathan Delfouneso celebrates pulling a goal back against MSK Zilina in UEFA Cup action.

Aston Villa's young forward Nathan Delfouneso, who came on as a substitute against Chelsea in his side’s 7-1 Premier League defeat two weeks ago, hopes boss Martin O’Neill will turn to him once again when both teams meet in the FA Cup this weekend.

Delfouneso’s Villa side take on Chelsea this Saturday in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley, and the 19-year-old is hoping that, unlike the League Cup final against Manchester United where he was an unused substitute, he can get some minutes on the field.

"It would be a great achievement for me to be involved and to get on the pitch as well," Delfouneso told the club’s official website.

"Even though I didn't get on in the League Cup final, it was still a great experience just to be involved with the squad, to be on the bench and to be on the pitch warming up.

"It would be quite an achievement and to get on the pitch would be something of a stepping stone for me in my career."

Delfouneso has made nine appearances for Villa this season, seven of which have come as a substitute, scoring two goals.
