Uefa-Cup: Glasgow Rangers - Fiorentina, Mutu, Broadfoot (PA)
Rangers full-back Kirk Broadfoot is set to miss this Sunday's Co-operative Insurance Cup final against St Mirren through injury.

The 25-year-old was expected to feature despite picking up a hamstring injury in training last Friday, but assistant manager Ally McCoist has confirmed he will not play.

"It looks as though Broaders is struggling. He's been in the gym but it doesn't look as though he's going to make it and that's a real shame," McCoist told Rangers TV.

He added: "We'll look at him as the week goes on and give him as much time as possible to get fit."

Broadfoot has been plagued with injuries recently. He was out for nine months after being sent off in the League Cup final defeat to Celtic last season.
