Sunderland goalkeeper Marton Fulop will leave the club at the end of the season.

The former Tottenham stopper has made 14 appearances for the club this campaign, but has seen his place in the side under threat since his performance in the 7-2 defeat to Chelsea.

Fulop confirmed his departure, but also scotched reports that he will join Wigan.

"There's no truth that I'll join Wigan on loan. I smiled when I saw the reports," he told NSO.

"But it's sure that I leave Sunderland this summer.

"I still don't know where I'd go but I'm sure that I'd like a change."
