Plymouth Argyle and West Bromwich Albion fined after fracas

Championship clubs handed fines for melee in February…
The Football Association have confirmed that Plymouth Argyle and West Bromwich Albion have been fined after a brawl between the teams.

The Championship clubs were both charged for failing to control their players during the fixture at Home Park on February 6.

A statement on the FA website revealed that both clubs have been fined £5,000 by an Independent Disciplinary Commission for the fracas with a further £7,500 suspended until 1 June 2011.

If either club are involved in a similar incident before 1 June 2011 they will have be forced to pay the suspended fee.
