Owen Coyle: Jack Wilshere will return to Arsenal a better player after Bolton Wanderers loan
Scotsman praises youngster...
By Niall McGlone
Wilshere joined Bolton on loan from the Gunners in January and the 18-year-old scored his first goal for the club in the win over West Ham United at Upton Park last weekend.
Coyle now feels that regular first-team football will give the youngster all the experience he needs to stake a claim for a regular staring place at the Emirates.
“Playing football games is good for anybody’s development and he’s playing in the best league in the world,” he told The Bolton News.
“Jack has got maturity well beyond his years and is so clever on the ball — he’s desperate to do well for us, and there’s no doubt this experience will serve him well. But it will only serve him if he is at the right football club. And I believe he is.”
Wilshere has only made two appearances for Arsenal but Coyle believes the midfielder will return to his parent club a better player.
“At the end of the season we’ll sit down and have a chat about what Jack has accomplished here and I’ll be more than happy to do that because they’ll be getting back a better player than the one that left to go on loan,” he said.
“He will go back and play first-team football, but then it’s easy for me to say that. Arsene Wenger obviously believes he has scope, or else he wouldn’t have allowed him to come to a Premier League club.
“He did it with Niklas Bendtner because he knows that when they come back to Arsenal, he’ll have a bona fide first-team player.”
Bolton host Wigan at the Reebok stadium on Saturday as both side look to move clear of the relegation zone.

So far the vote is 3-1 towards laughing me out of the building on this one - but they laughed at Galileo too when he said that the earth orbits the sun ...
Phil, as a sensible man, went for another bet entirely in the end, but I've just got a bit of a feeling. Maybe Papiss Demba Cisse's brilliant goal last weekend has got me in too much of a flutter (geddit?).
