Celtic striker Robbie Keane has criticised the state of Falkirk's pitch after the game between the two sides at the weekend.

The Hoops are said to have raised concerns about the playing surface ahead of the match, which Tony Mowbray's side won 2-0.

"I don't think many people are used to playing on pitches like that," Keane told Celtic View.

"I've been watching it [Scottish football] as an outsider for the last few years and I can't recall the pitches being that bad.

"I don't think the standard of the pitches - thanks to the weather - have helped the league. It's not good for the game," he added.
