Emmanuel Eboue insists he never wanted leave Arsenal
Ivorian happy to play for his 'Daddy' at Emirates...
By Zack Wilson
The utility man was booed by his side's own supporters last season but his fortunes seem to have altered somewhat now.
He now insists that he could not be happier in north London and is desperate to win a trophy for the Arsenal fans.
"I never said I wanted to move," he said, according to Press Association Sport.
"I have got two more years with Arsenal and I feel very well here. I want to win something for the club because they have helped me a lot, so I want to win something for them."
The player is also delighted to be working with a manager he describes in most affectionate terms.
"Arsene Wenger is always with us when we have a bad day so for me I think he is like our Daddy so we are all happy to play for him," he enthused.
"Last year and this year is not the same because this year we are more comfortable and I think if we continue to play together like against Porto then why can we not do something?"
