Roy Hodgson happy with Fulham's underdog tag ahead of Juventus clash in Europa League

Belief is high at Craven Cottage...

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson is not worried that Europa League rivals Juventus have been tagged clear favourites for the two sides' tussle this week.

The Cottagers emerged as unlikely victors in the previous round due to their aggregate defeat of last season's Uefa Cup champions Shakhtar Donetsk.

Their reward is a round of 16 clash with Serie A outfit Juve, a decorated side domestically and on the continent.

The first leg of the affair kicks-off on Thursday evening yet due to fixture congestion it is a bout Hodgson has had little time to mull over.

"Until now we have not been able to even think about Juventus because we have had many games," the journeyed manager is quoted by Mirror Football to have said.

"But Juve are Juve, a great team, not just in Italy, but in Europe.

"We haven't been given much of a chance to get through and that is fair. But we believe we can do it and if we can, we would be making history for this club."
