Emmanuel Adebayor refutes reports linking him with move from Manchester City to Milan

Striker hopes to be at Eastlands for a 'long time'

Emmanuel Adebayor has reiterated his desire to remain at Manchester City amid renewed speculation linking the striker with AC Milan.

Prior to his switch to Eastlands, the Togo international was thought to have had his heart set on a move to the San Siro.

The rumours were reignited when Roberto Mancini succeeded Mark Hughes as manager of City in December.

However, the former Arsenal striker has refuted the reports suggesting that he is unsettled following the change of management, but admits that nothing is certain in football.

"I signed at City for five years. I am very happy here so far, but you never know, said the 26-year-old, according to Sky Sports.

"For me, I am a Manchester City player and I hope to be for a long time."
