Milan youth team coach Giovanni Stroppa has said the Italian side can cause a real upset at Old Trafford this week and that they should travel to England with the belief that they can overturn the one-goal deficit.

“We are playing in Manchester, against a team that does not concede more than two goals in Champions League home games, but everything is made to be overturned and reversed,” he told Milannews.

Milan go into the match off the back of a 3-2 defeat at San Siro in the first leg last month, but Stroppa says he saw enough in the first 20 minutes from the Rossoneri to believe that they are in with a chance.

“Considering the first twenty minutes, no one can say anything. People can talk but the tie is open and anything can happen.

"I think there is more than just a hope, I saw the last match and I think there is an opportunity to beat them, although it will be difficult,” he concluded.
