Birmingham City manager Alex McLeish frustrated by goal-line technology ruling
Scot believes key incidents need addressing...

Birmingham City manager Alex McLeish has been left disappointed by the International Football Association's decision to pass up on the opportunity to adopt the use of goal-line technology.
The Blues were involved in a controversial decision on Saturday as they saw a goal disallowed during their 2-0 defeat to Portsmouth in the FA Cup quarter-final.
With Birmingham chasing the game, Liam Ridgewell's close-range header was ruled out, though replays showed the ball had crossed Portsmouth goalkeeper David James' goal-line, leaving McLeish wanting for more intervention.
"It is frustrating. They're [the IFA] doing their officials a disservice," McLeish said, according to BBC Sport.
"I know you can't stop every part of the game but certainly for key decisions in a major competition like the FA Cup, your chances of getting to semi-finals and finals are few and far between for a little club like us."
Despite their cup exit, Birmingham have exceeded expectations this season as they sit ninth in the Premier League having reached the 40-point mark that almost certainly secures their top-flight survival.
