England's senior and Under-21 teams will honour the life of deceased Macclesfield Town manager Keith Alexander by wearing black armbands during their respective games against Egypt (friendly) and Greece (European Championship qualifier) tonight.

Alexander was found dead at his home on Wednesday morning, a day after his side's 1-0 defeat by Notts County.

Richard Bevan, chief executive of the League Manager's Association (LMA), said to Sky Sports News: "It's an appropiate tribute to Keith. It's a very sad day, we're numb at the office, and everyone is shocked. Our thoughts are with Helen - his wife - and his children.

"Our thoughts are with the family. I have been in the job two years; I worked with Keith on the Prince's Trust and found him to be an honest man. We wanted him to join the board of the LMA. He had helped at various projects. He had a total commitment to the game.

"He will sorely be missed."
