West Ham United boss Gianfranco Zola feels that his team is 'getting better' after a thumping 3-0 victory at home to Hull City this afternoon.

United bossed the game from start to finish, with goals from Valon Behrami, Carlton Cole and Julien Faubert earning the three points and moving the Hammers further away from the drop-zone.

"The whole team is getting better; the more confidence you get, the more the players can give," Zola told BBC Sport.

Zola went on to praise his players' teamwork as well as goalkeeper Robert Green.

"It was a good performance; we can do better, but the difference was the way we started.

"We were solid throughout the game and the second goal was important for us.

"Robert Green's save was worth a goal to us, because it allowed us to reorganise at half-time.''
