Torres, Henry, Drogba, Messi and Lampard as you've never seen them before
Global stars team-up for new ad campaign.
By Alan Dawson
The closest that football fans ever get to seeing sports stars in any form of eccentric bodily decoration is probably when Turkey's iconic shot-stopper Rustu Recber slaps on the trademark war paint. However, the aforementioned quintet have trodden the extra mile that even Recber dared not tread, and have caked their whole bodies in the stuff.
The body paint campaign was shot in Africa and is due to air in the summer. You can catch sneak glimpses below.
Drogba said: "When Pepsi MAX first approached me with the idea of using body paint as a way to bring to life their campaign this year I thought it was brilliant idea.
"In every football stadium around the world you see colour in the stands, but more so in African Stadiums where fans often use body paint to show their support for their team.

"Putting paint on the players was a great way to show our love for the game and I think the results are amazing."
