Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp blasted his team after their 1-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.

A lacklustre display from the North London club saw them fail to match a hard-working Wolves team in every area of the pitch.

Redknapp told BBC Sport: "It's our worst performance of the season. We had loads of the ball but never threatened enough to score."

The result was a major blow to Tottenham's Champions League chances, leaving them in sixth place, a point behind Manchester City, who have two games in hand.

Redknapp made several changes to his lineup before the game at Molineux and praised the opposition for unsettling his disjointed side.

"We've had a lot of games and I decided to change one or two around tonight. They worked hard and got after us and we never got to grips with that tonight so fair play to them," said Redknapp.

The result completed the double over Spurs for Wolves as they pulled themselves out of the relegation zone.
