Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Redknapp hopes Portsmouth avert administration threat
Former boss hopes to see club back on its feet...

Pompey are currently seeking to prevent a winding-up order issued by Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC), and Redknapp sincerely hopes a buyer can be found to stop his former club from going out of business.
"Let's hope they can find someone else. I think they have a potential owner they are talking to. It needs someone to invest in the club, stabilise the club and get it back on its feet," said Redknapp, as quoted by Press Association Sport.
"They've been through it before, a couple of years before I came when the gates were locked and Milan Mandaric saved them that time."
Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie is thought to have offered to pay a portion of the money owed to HMRC as a compromise.
If a deal can be reached it would help Pompey to avoid becoming the first Premier League club to go into administration and would allow more time for an investor to be found.
Storrie wrote in his programme notes ahead of Tuesday night's Premier League encounter with Sunderland:
"I already have more than one interested party and am hopeful that we can finally find owners who have the best interests of everyone at the club at heart in order to move us forward."
