Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp believes Aston Villa stalemate points to battle for third, not fourth in the Premier League
The Spurs boss is looking for his side to push on after a run of good form...
By David Kifford
Spurs currently sit seven points off third place Arsenal after their stalemate with Aston Villa on Saturday and have played a game more than their local rivals.
However the White Hart Lane chief claims the form of the top seven teams means anything could happen between now and the end of the season.
"There are four teams battling for that fourth spot and maybe even third, who knows? If somebody has a run, anything could happen," he told BBC Sport.
"Liverpool are in good form, it's one defeat in 12 games for us, so we've been in great form, Manchester City are going to be right there and so are Villa."
Tottenham were unable to hold onto fourth spot this weekend as they were leapfrogged by Liverpool in the table, but Redknapp was pleased with his side's performance against Villa.
He added: "Every time we pulled the trigger it seemed to take a deflection or hit somebody, but overall I thought we were terrific."
Tottenham's next Premier League game is the trip to relegation candidates Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday.
