Hull City manager Phil Brown pleased with draw against Chelsea
Boss felt Tigers deserved point...
By Steve Alexander
Steven Mouyokolo's header was cancelled out by a Didier Drogba free-kick minutes before half-time but Brown was pleased with his side's performance.
"If you take the two points that we've got in the last two games, obviously everybody thought or expected us to win on Saturday against Wolves," Brown told Sky Sports News.
"Nobody gave us a chance today and therefore, consequently we've seemed to put our best foot forward, when we've played against some of the top sides and yet get nothing from the game.
"We deserved to get something from the game, if not three points.
"The second half was a battle. We did play some good stuff, did get at the back four, did expose Chelsea at times."
Hull players were not happy with Drogba's free-kick, claiming that it should have been indirect, but Brown had no complaints.
He said: "Whether you think it's indirect or direct you defend it properly and we didn't at the time."
Hull move up a place in the table after their point but remain in the relegation zone.
