Robbie Keane has a future with Tottenham Hotspur - Harry Redknapp
Celtic move will not be permanent, reckons Spurs gaffer...
By Adithya Ananth
The Republic of Ireland international was receiving only sparing amounts of time on the pitch and with the arrival of Eidur Gudjohnsen on loan coupled with the unwillingness of Spurs to part with Roman Pavlyuchenko, the former Liverpool hitman was sent to the Bhoys to receive regular football for the remainder of the season.
However, the cockney gaffer maintains that this is only a temporary situation and expects to see Keane back in white next season.
"I cannot see it being permanent," Redknapp said.
"It is only a loan, until the end of the season. I would think that might be as far as it goes."
Many managers have expressed concerns over the January transfer window in the past, and the former Portsmouth boss also voiced his disapproval.
"The window is a bit of a farce," he added.
"It might give excitement for fans, but for managers, I couldn't wait for 5pm to arrive, the phone stops ringing and people stop bothering you with players who are no use to you.
"I am pleased it has finished again."
