Stefano Okaka: ‘I hope to do well’ for Fulham and return to Roma a better player
The youngster hopes to return to the Olimpico after his stint with the Cottagers.

The 20-year-old completed a loan switch to Craven Cottage yesterday after netting a wonder goal in the Giallorossi’s 2-1 Serie A win over Siena last weekend and has vowed to make the most of this chance to grow into a more mature player.
“I am a little sad to leave, but the choice was made before Sunday,” Okaka told Radio Radio.
“Had I not scored that goal, we would be talking about different things. Still, I am in London now and ready for this experience.
“I hope to improve both on a personal and footballing level. I love it here and it’s all very organised. I hope to do well and return to Roma in the future.”
Fulham have the option to sign Okaka for a further season in the summer, and ‘Jay Jay’ said: “I don’t know if I will be back in Rome in July. You never know in life. I am just focused on doing well now, then we’ll evaluate things in the summer.”
