FA Cup Preview: Wigan Athletic - Notts County
Sven's men looking for cup upset...
By Steve Alexander
Notts County travel to the DW Stadium to face Wigan Athletic in an FA Cup forth round replay with the winners facing a trip to Fulham in the next round.
Wigan came from two goals down to salvage a 2-2 draw when the sides faced each other in Nottingham.
The replay is a game Wigan boss Roberto Martinez could do without, with his side battling to stay above the drop zone in the Premier League.
The current form of the two sides could not be more different. Notts County have only lost one of their last nine games in all competitions winning seven of them.
They are scoring goals for fun this season netting 62 times in 30 games.
Wigan go into the game on the back of defeats to Everton and Blackburn, so will be hoping not to be on the end of an FA Cup giant-killing.
Martinez played fringe players like Antonio Amaya and Scott Sinclair in the previous game, but with his side seeking a much needed confidence boost he should feature his strongest side to avoid an upset.
County are boosted by the news that midfielder Ricky Ravenhill should be available after he was taken off injured in their 2-0 win over Barnet on Saturday.
The Wigan defence will have to pay close attention to in-form striker Lee Hughes who has now bagged 21 goals this season.
Wigan are without new signing Victor Moses, as he is cup-tied. They may also be without Maynor Figueroa and Mario Melchiot due to injury.
