Portsmouth have confirmed via their working-again website on Friday that midfielder Jamie O'Hara has signed a deal that will see him stay at Fratton Park until the end of the season on loan from Tottenham Hotspur.

The club's website went down on Thursday amid reports of non-paments to their web hosting company.

The 23-year-old had returned to Spurs after making 14 appearances for Pompey during the first half of the season.

He scored his solitary Portsmouth goal in the 3-1 defeat to Blackburn Rovers in November.

O'Hara was a product of the Tottenham youth academy and has played for England U-21s.

Reports did surface towards the end of last year though that he was considering switching countries and playing for Giovanni Trapattoni's Republic of Ireland side.
