Cesc Fabregas has enjoyed an excellent run of form with Arsenal this season, leading to renewed suggestions, from both the media and Barcelona players, that the Blaugrana youth product would benefit from a move back to Spain.
Gerard Pique has now declared he is sure his Spanish international team-mate could eventually join him at the European champions.
"Cesc will end up wearing the Blaugrana shirt one day, I've always said that," Pique affirmed to Sport.
"I'm sure that the canterano class of '87 will find themselves together. Cesc prefers to keep his opinion to himself."
There has also been speculation that Real Madrid could steal ahead of the Spanish champions with a bid for the Arsenal star, but Pique has laughed off the idea.
He added, "I'd hate to see him at Real Madrid and I don't think it will happen. In football, you can't use the word impossible, but I don't believe it will occur."
